Nigerian Breweries, brewers of Heineken®, the world’s most valuable international premium beer, unveiled the Heineken® ‘Live Your Music’ campaign on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at a press conference to kick off the Gidi Culture Festival 2016.

The Heineken® ‘Live Your Music’ campaign is a celebration of music experiences that makes people feel more alive – experiences tailored at giving passionate music lovers and ‘live-rs’ the opportunity to live the power of their music in more accessible and affordable ways.

“Globally Heineken® shares its consumer’s passion for experiencing music, consumers do not just listen to music, they live their music,” said Ngozi Nkwoji, Senior Brand Manager, Heineken Nigeria. “We truly believe that Gidi Culture Festival is creating an avenue where upwardly mobile individuals can come together to have a good time – and Heineken is contributing to this by bringing premium music and beer experiences.”

Gidi Culture Festival is a one day beach festival curating and representing African music and culture. The 2016 edition of the show continues with the theme from last year’s event tagged, “Africa on One Stage”.

“We are really excited to be back this year, partnering with Heineken® to create excellent music experiences that is sure to put us on the global festival map and show the world that Lagos is the continent’s melting pot for music and culture,” Chin Okeke, CEO Eclipse West Africa and Founder, Gidi Culture Festival.

The third edition of the Gidi Culture Festival will hold at Eko Atlantic City on March 26, 2016, with activities like beach sports headed by celebrity captains and live music from Africa’s best artistes such as Davido, Tiwa Savage, Timaya, Yemi Alade, Riky Rick, Manifest and more.

Strongbow Apple Ciders, the world’s biggest and most popular cider brand would also be contributing to the one of a kind music and culture experience at the festival.
